Location: Castlemaine, VIC
Licensed Capacity: 80 places
Casual Hourly Rate: $33.53 - $41.30 (incl. 25% casual loading)
At Busy Bees at Castlemaine, we are looking for energetic and reliable Casual Educators to support our passionate team. If you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy helping children grow through play, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference while maintaining flexibility.
About the Role
As a Casual Educator, you will:
- Step into different rooms and support permanent staff with routines and transitions- Assist in delivering play-based learning aligned with the EYLF- Be available for flexible shifts Monday to Friday, between 6:30am and 6:30pm- Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues- Bring energy, initiative, and adaptability to each day
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or actively working towards it) - ACECQA approved- Working with Children Check (Employee) - VIC- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012 or equivalent)- Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting certificate- Experience working in early learning (preferred)- Confidence working across all age groups
