**The Opportunity**
- undertaking research and preparing briefing notes for Head of College;
- organising and contributing to roundtables and dialogues;
- co-ordinating (and attending) professional development courses;
- managing career and networking events for and with academic students;
- assisting with podcast production; or
- contributing to the work of the Futures Hub.

You will work in partnership with NSC team members, College Staff and a wide variety of external stakeholders.

Due to the nature of work undertaken by Graduates at the NSC, applicants must meet eligibility requirements for an Australian government security clearance: be an Australian citizen and have a checkable background. Please be aware that the NSC is not in a position to provide relocation support for the successful applicants.

Crawford School of Public Policy is a School within the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy (CLGP) and is Australia’s premier public policy school, with recognised world-class expertise and experience in economics, political science, environmental management and development, and on key Asia-Pacific countries, especially China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as Australia.

The National Security College (NSC), which is part of the Crawford School, is a joint venture between the Australian Government and the Australian National University (ANU). NSC conducts programs relating to national security policy including executive and professional development courses, postgraduate education, research and outreach.

The vision for the NSC is to build, through its core activities and the attributes of its graduates, enhanced strategic understanding and critical thinking about Australia’s national security. The NSC builds this enhanced understanding in ways that promote collaborative leadership within government as well as trusted networks.
