Salary Level: PS04 $78,904 $86,796 + 17% superannuation

**About the team**:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Industry Team as a Placement Coordinator

Reporting to the Placements Team Leader, the Placement Coordinator is responsible for identifying and engaging host companies, matching and placing interns into appropriate host companies, ensuring all appropriate administrative, compliance and process requirements as part of the placement are met.

Our Industry team provides a range of best practice training programs, workplace learning and vocational placement experiences. We specialise in assisting students and graduates to develop the necessary graduate employability skills and knowledge to maximise their opportunities to succeed in the global workplace. Industry’s dedicated WIL (Work Integrated Learning) team facilitates internship opportunities for various Monash University faculties, including Arts, Business, and STEM. Through our extensive network of industry partners and engagement with the broader university, we are able to foster and support graduates to successfully transition from formal education into a professional career.

**About You**:
Your recent experience in a similar position or environment will see you hit the ground running. Ideally you will have:

- Business development/industry engagement experience with a strong ability to establish new relationships and networks (you will have a strong focus on expanding our client base and establishing relationships with new host companies)
- Proven experience in coordinating and administering student placements or end to end recruitment experience
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including strong presentation skills with the ability to lead discussions regarding placements with university and industry stakeholders)
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to meet tight targets and deadlines
- Ability to contribute to continuous improvement processes by raising opportunities and solutions with the team.
- Ability to navigate across multiple systems and platforms
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly, harmoniously and productively in a busy team environment, and be accountable for your own actions and workload to positively influence the team culture and consistently demonstrate organisation values.
