**About Your Next Opportunity**:
Applications are invited for Full-Time and Part-time** Pathology Services Assistants to join the SRA Preanalytical team in our Bowen Hills laboratory.**

The Department provides services **Monday to Friday 08:30 to 00:30, Saturday 08:30 to 23:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 20:00.**

**Participation in the Saturday and public holiday rosters is expected.**

Responsibilities of the position include:

- Specimen registration, data entry and processing
- Unpacking, receipting and distribution of specimens - you may be required to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift/carry eskies
- Delivery of specimens to laboratory departments
- Loading of samples on to automated equipment
- Preanalytical preparation and processing including centrifuging and aliquoting of specimens

**About You**:
Suitable applicants should be enthusiastic, possess good communication and organisational skills and have the ability to work as part of a busy and multi-tasked team.

A high level of commitment to customer service, laboratory turnaround times and accuracy of processing is required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
