**About your new role**:
Working as part of our dedicated team means you will have the unique opportunity to enhance the well-being, comfort, and enjoyment of residents with a particular emphasis on providing a comfortable, clean, and homely environment. The role involves carrying out laundry and house cleaning tasks, as well as assisting with moving large items including furniture, beds and rubbish bins.

**Duties**:

- Ensure rooms are kept clean and tidy
- Replenish supplies from the storeroom, including receiving and storing goods
- Assist with moving large items around the site, including rubbish bins and furniture
- Comply with infection control measures and food safety requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Complete scheduled paperwork for each shift
- Maintain common areas and resident rooms
- Assistance with laundry tasks may be required

**Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to complete a busy and physically demanding workload and respond to changing priorities
- High level of comprehension and attention to detail
- Good time management skills
- Ability to engage residents through a person-centered approach to care and support
- Empathy, understanding, and respect when relating to the aged care population
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical if required

**Roster**:
Part-Time: Monday - Friday : 7am - 1:30pm

Casual - Pick up shifts when available
