**Location: Hallam, VIC**
**Responsibilities**:
- Assess and determine the appropriate type and size of glass required for various projects, considering both aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Utilize patterns and jigs to measure and outline cutting paths on glass sheets on cushioned worktables, ensuring precision and compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct meticulous inspections of glass sheets to identify and mark any imperfections, ensuring the highest quality of materials is used.
- Skillfully cut glass following custom templates and patterns to fit bespoke designs, using advanced cutting tools for precision.
- Remove unnecessary glass pieces with specialized tools, refining edges to ensure a perfect fit and finish.
- Execute the installation of glass panels in a variety of settings, including windows, skylights, and interior architectural elements, while ensuring structural integrity and alignment.
- Employ belt sanders and smoothing wheels to refine edges, ensuring a flawless finish on all glass installations.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with clients and design teams to advise on the glass selection suitable for specific project needs.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge on the latest glazing technologies and materials.
**Hours of Work**: This is a full-time position, typically involving 38 hours per week.
**Compensation**: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in glazing or a related field.
- A Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in a relevant field is required.
