**Role Description/Criteria**

We seek a passionate, collaborative, inspiring and innovative teacher with a strong work ethic to join our team at Holy Rosary School as Religious Education Leader. This is a 0.4 position with preferred work days of Wednesdays and Thursdays. This role attracts a POL 1 allowance.

**Selection Criteria**
- Applicants should address the Selection Criteria, include a resume and the name of three referees, including your current and previous principal._

The successful applicant should have the knowledge and skills to:

- promote engaging, challenging and innovative learning in Religious Education in ways that support diverse needs and improved student learning outcomes
- nurture the faith of our students and staff, and integrate and promote engagement in the religious life of the school
- participate and initiate ways to engage with the school and parish community, and to extend and celebrate student learning within and beyond the classroom
- develop and maintain relationships with colleagues that contribute to positive workplace relationships
- reflect on personal and team practice, and contribute to the professional growth of self and others
- support the practices of PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning).

**Special Requirements**

The successful applicant will:

- have a strong personal faith, and understanding of the ethos and traditions of the Catholic church
- have VIT registration
- be accredited to teach RE
- have further qualifications in Religious Education/Theology (not essential but desirable)
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- commit to Holy Rosary School's Child Safe policies and the Code of Conduct.
