The Role:
As the Contracts Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our projects. This role assumes the role of a commercial partner, overseeing the complete lifecycle of assigned contracts, encompassing contract performance, management, and commercial risk mitigation.

Your responsibilities will span across various key areas:

- Championing the establishment of a safety-centric culture
- Orchestrating end-to-end contract management activities, including drafting, tender evaluation, negotiation, and governance
- Formulating comprehensive tender packages and contract documents
- Collaborating with legal and financial teams to ensure contractual terms align with desired commercial outcomes
- Serving as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding contract-related matters
- Partnering with engineering, delivery, and project control teams to ensure scope adherence
- Identifying, tracking, and managing contract deliverables, KPIs, and risks
- Maintaining meticulous records of commercial discussions throughout the contract lifecycle
- Ensuring equitable evaluation of claims, variations, and extensions
- Ensuring accurate and current maintenance of contract registers

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:

- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Law, Supply Chain or a related field, highly desirable
- A minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar commercial or contracts advisory capacity
- Preferably, experience within a relevant industry, including exposure to commissioning or maintenance operations
- A proven track record in developing and implementing end-to-end contracts management procedures
- A demonstrated ability to cultivate productive relationships with key stakeholders
- Proficiency in tender review and contract negotiation
- Previous familiarity with quantity surveying is advantageous, though not mandatory
- Familiarity with contract management systems like SAP, Ariba, or equivalent ERP systems
