The Spendless Shoes Information Technology Department performs a critical role in supporting the company as a whole. Your position as the Project Coordinator, located at the Support Centre, ensures the provision of superior service through execution and administration of technology-based projects across the business via highly effective communications with and organisation of stakeholders.
**The Role**:
The team is relatively small, and as a result the Project Coordinator will be required to work across the organisation, covering all Technology Project systems including but not limited to the Microsoft Dynamics ERP and POS, Data Warehousing, Integration and Reporting Projects.
The **Project Coordinator** will work alongside other IT staff and external partners and work closely with business team members. The role will extend into other capabilities such as documenting business cases, documenting project meetings, overseeing testing and training, supporting business teams during testing, managing risk and issue registers and delivery of Project Status reports.
Having broad experience with implementing major System and technology Projects is an advantage

**Areas of Responsibility**
- Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has what’s needed at the right time
- Assign tasks to team members and help them understand what’s expected from them in terms of project milestones and deliverables
- Schedule stakeholder meetings, document and generate reports
- Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables
- Work closely with external Partners and Project Managers to ensure clear lines of responsibility and hold to account all deliverables
- Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for project managers and stakeholder
- Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle
- Administer project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement
- Support business transition and helping to establish change.
**Relevant Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
- Project management certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), project management professional (PMP) or similar
- Working knowledge of project management software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills, able to deal with all stakeholders
- Good organisational and highly effective communications skills
- Documentation and writing skills, able to document use cases, business requirements documents, test material and training material
- Confident presenter, able to present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and to manage stakeholder meetings
This role requires a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in project coordination and is suited to the person who is ready to make the move to a Project Manager role.
