**About the Role**

Under its Defence Marine Support Services (DMSS) Contract with Navy, Serco is contracted to provide a tasking and asset management capability, for which Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) provides the platform (IFS Applications 10).

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and assisting the Contract Shore support team you will be responsible for the IFS supporting technical engineering, maintenance activities, operational tasking and support and End of Month (EOM) and Quarterly reporting, reporting activities, and IFS User training.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- IFS training and understanding.
- General maritime engineering and maintenance skills.
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft, Word, Excel).
- Current Driver’s licence (Class C).
- 2-3 Years’ Experience in a Maritime or Naval support environment.
- Ability to plan and coordinate basic repair programs for equipment
- General skills relating to vessel operation and maintenance
- Ability to work in a team environment, performing multi tasks without supervision.
- Working Knowledge of AMSA/Lloyds standards and Classification requirements.
- Ability to be appointed Technical Delegation of Authority EAL 4
