Vehicle Accessory Fitter

**Vehicle Accessory Fitters needed - Full-Time position**

Amtek is an Australian owned and operated company, we specialise in building customised, engineered vehicle solutions for a range of government and private clients including Ambulance service, Police, Disability access, Fire and Rescue, retirement & nursing homes, special needs schools and many more.

We are currently recruiting experienced **Vehicle Accessory Fitters** to work in our production in Wangara, WA.

New dynamic company building the latest emergency and specialised vehicles. Work is clean in modern facility and involves significant vehicle conversions.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Assist to assemble a wide range of purpose-built vehicles
- Assembly and fitting of vehicle accessories and components such as Cabinets, lockers, shelves, seating, flooring etc
- Assist in day-to-day tasks as per Team Leader’s instruction, including general labouring and specific tasks to assist the team and Team Leader
- Assist in the repairs and maintenance of products

This role requires someone with an excellent eye for detail and measurement.

Ideally would suit someone with cabinetry or joinery experience.

You will work well within a team and have a high attention to detail and in a fast paced environment

In addition:

- Working to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality workmanship.
- Working a variety of tasks using hand tools and power tools
- Working well independently whilst being part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Automotive Trade: 1 year (preferred)
