We do this all in the heart of the beautiful Shoalhaven.**Your responsibilities will include**:
- As an integral part of the logistics operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading the Logistics Quality Assurance Team.
- The primary focus of this role will include (not limited to):
- Ensure material packaging, dispatch and reception of equipment is conducted effectively with a “right first-time” culture and inline with Company policy and procedures.
- Compile records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued.
- Verify material received to determine irregularities through inspection of articles and rejection of defective ones.
- Providing direction and leadership to the QA team and monitor the performance of staff involved in carrying out quality assurance system functions.
- Liaise with all relevant regulatory authorities to ensure conformance with regulatory requirements. Management of stock IAW FMS Case
- Carry out the role of Discrepancy Manager - managing the investigation, submission, and release of logistic and Technical Discrepancy Reports.
- Carry out the role of Disposal Manager - raising Disposal Surveys in accordance with ADF policy
- Contribute to the identification and investigation of problems that may adversely impact on quality controls. Perform documentation checks of paperwork received with AP receipts in accordance with this procedure and authorisation.
- Carry out the required CAMM2 transactions for incoming and outgoing AP.
- Identify process efficiencies and potential impacts to supportability of Authorised to Fit Products
- Liaison with Sikorsky and CoA technical SME’s to verify part numbers and configuration status of repairable and consumable items and their authority to fit
**About you**:
- To see you succeed in this role you will have a passion for aviation and airworthiness, have strong attention to detail and work as part of a diverse team.
- To be considered for this position you will have:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in and understanding of Defence and/or Civilian Aviation Quality Assurance and Maintenance Management processes and Logistics systems including Supply Chain and Asset Management.
- Unit Inspecting Officer (UIO) qualification or competent ability to obtain this qualification.
- Proficient knowledge of MILIS Item Management
- Proven ability to effective leader a team within a dynamic regulatory environment
- Strong experience with customer partnering through building effective relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Well-developed ability to pre-empt problems and create opportunities for improvement.
- Proven ability to adapt and maintain a flexible approach to changing needs and priorities.
**Special Requirements**:
- Applicants are required to be able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Force security clearance.
