**Your responsibilities**
- Operate vacuum loading equipment as required in order to efficiently remove waste product in accordance with client requirements.
- Set up and operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations.
- Perform loading and unloading duties of waste.
- Service grease traps and/or pits and/or tanks, as required, in accordance with the Company’s standard operating procedure(s) as required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use & stored in a clean & correct manner.
- Undertake daily prestart checks of equipment.
- Assist in the training of operators of the same level or lower.
- Maintain a professional image of the company and deliver high quality customer service at all times.
- Complete all paperwork and records accurately, as directed and required.

**Skills and experience**
- Heavy Rigid (HR) (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) Licence (as a minimum).
- Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combo (HC) or Medium Combo (MC) Licence (AUS)
- HR or Class 4 driving experience.
- Current dangerous goods licence
- Waste industry knowledge and experience (desirable).
- Working at heights ticket or greater.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Mechanical aptitude.
