Are you a resident of the Moreton Bay region, particularly around North Lakes, Caboolture and the surrounding areas?

Do you hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or a related qualification?

This could be your step in the door to working with Right at Home in the Moreton Bay Region. This is a casual position that initially will cover for some our valued carers taking a break and filling in for visits that arise, sometimes on a daily basis. We envision this will turn into ongoing shifts as we carefully match our carers and clients. One of our clients has specified a requirement for a female carer.

We’re looking for compassionate & enthusiastic Personal Carers to join our growing team You’ll be caring for our clients in their own homes around North Lakes to Caboolture and the surrounding areas, so you’ll need a driver’s license and reliable car with comprehensive insurance.

**Duties will include** (but not limited to)
- Providing personal care - showering, grooming & dressing
- Domestic assistance - vacuuming, mopping, laundry, ironing, light gardening, cleaning bathrooms, changing beds
- Meal preparation
- Transport clients to appointments, shopping or other social activities
- Medication prompts
- Develop a plan along with the client to improve their lives and follow it daily
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
- Responding to emergency situations

We understand the challenges with today’s cost of living and offer a competitive pay rate of $38.53 (weekday rate) plus 11.5% superannuation. We also pay a KM allowance for client transportation assistance during shift.

**What you need or be willing to obtain**
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent - Required
- Working Rights in Australia
- Australian Criminal History Check
- NDIS Workers Screening Card (paid)
- Blue Card (paid)
- Drivers licence & reliable car with comprehensive insurance
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Double Covid Vaccination
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
