Darling Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Venue Manager to lead our team at The Terrace, a landmark project nestled in the unrivaled setting of Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens. This isn't just a job; it's your opportunity to spearhead an incredible team that is dedicated to exceeding guest expectations from the moment they step through our doors. As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of the venue, managing the front-of-the-house team, and ensuring an unparalleled experience for our patrons.

**About The Terrace**:
The Terrace is a landmark project led by Darling Group in the unrivalled setting of Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. A true Melbourne icon is revitalised - a conservatory by an ornamental lake. Equal parts romance, Australiana, cool botanica and modern grandeur, The Terrace has unrivalled indoor and outdoor event space, as well as all an day cafe, takeaway kiosk and pop-up experiences - purpose-built for casual dining, lakeside beverages and world-class events.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Previous experience in venue / restaurant management position
- Passionate about people, hospitality and experiences
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Exemplary service skills and standards.
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets, for example revenue, cost of goods and labour.
- Strong organisation skills with the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail and forward thinking to identify opportunities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekend, public holiday, daytime and evening services.
- Excellent communication and presentation
- Function and event experience a bonus.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
