**About the Role**

As Waitlist Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the clinical unit by managing surgical waitlists and booking processes with care, precision, and professionalism. Working closely with the Head of Unit and other key stakeholders, you will ensure that administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the seamless delivery of services. Your work will support equitable and timely access to care, helping patients feel supported throughout their surgical journey.

In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high-quality data systems and streamline workflows, all while exercising independence and initiative in your day-to-day responsibilities. With a strong focus on accuracy, transparency, and patient-centred care, you will take the lead on coordinating surgeries and procedures, ensuring patients are managed fairly and compassionately in line with both internal standards and external benchmarks.

You are an organised and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, patient-focused administrative support. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team enables you to contribute effectively to high-quality healthcare services.
- Skilled in organisation, time management and prioritising tasks under pressure
- Strong communicator with proven ability to liaise across patients and clinical teams
- Experienced in healthcare administration, waitlist or surgical booking systems
- Knowledgeable in hospital workflows, policies and confidentiality requirements
