Through innovation and going beyond the norm, our clients have grown to be the largest independent distributor of timber products in Australia, delivering products to all corners of the country.**Key responsibilities**:

- To lead the team, plan workload to meet daily and weekly transport goals
- To ensure that all safety and transport standards are met in line with company policy
- Manage the timely coordination of all local, regional or interstate deliveries including transfers between sites
- Manage and ensure that all driver's hours are log books are recorded where required as per legislative requirements
- Enter all transport invoices and scan delivery dockets into the system for processing and payment before end of month
- Manage all despatch consumables and process orders where necessary to maintain stock levels
Manage all payroll related tasks including leave requests and approval of timesheets for all direct reports**Requirements**:
**Key requirements**:

- Despatch or logistics supervisor experience
- Load planning or scheduling supervisor experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and general computing skills
- Possess practical knowledge of products and services within the timber industry
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, Basic Fatigue Management, Load Restraint and Safe Working Loads
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
