Our client is a leader in their field, and strongly emphasise a culture of collaboration, empowerment, agility and laughter. Due to organisational growth, they are seeking Time and Attendance Officer to join their friendly and social team on a permanent basis.

**About the Role**

This is a newly established role to help ensure that the employees and managers follow the correct guidelines by accurately tracking timesheets and hours in order for employees to be paid accordingly. This role will ensure time and attendance systems are accurately reflecting correctly for all hours and allowances.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, some of your duties include:

- Conducting weekly timesheet and roster checks
- Ensure timesheets are accurate and submitted on time to allow for successful payroll processing
- Using our Payroll system to run reports for stores and identifying discrepancies
- Coaching leaders on how to process changes to rosters and timesheets
- Working with the Payroll Manager to interpret awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Perform internal time and attendance audits on overtime, unpaid leave and late arrivals etc.
- Resolve time related payroll queries and discrepancies by collecting and analysing information and changes
- Support the Payroll Officers by correcting time related errors

**About You**
- Previous experience using Employment Hero or a similar payroll software
- Previous experience with Australia and NZ Payroll systems
- Process driven and high level of attention to detail
- Ability to interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Sound understanding and use of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams
