**About the role**

**Health Service Electronic Medical Record Implementation Lead**
- Fixed Term - (ASAP to 19.11.2026)
- Up to Full time
- Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
- The Health service implementation Lead will work together with the executive and senior Leadership teams to ensure the Health service is ready for the implementation of Trak-edition.

**What’s required?**

**Essential**:

- Tertiary degree in an information systems related discipline or equivalent information technology experience
- Management or Project Management qualifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile / Scrum certificates)
- Clinical experience with high level knowledge of clinical systems/electronic
medical records
- Project Management experience particularly implementing ICT network infrastructure from design to handover
- Demonstrated effectiveness in a role which interacts with all levels of
stakeholders
- Proven ability to write business cases, gather requirements and document processes.
- Proven ability to influence key stakeholders and team members to design and deliver optimal solutions.
- Knowledge or experience in structured project management methodologies
(eg. PRINCE2, PMBOK, AGILE, LEAN, etc.).
- Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise effectively.
- Understanding of the sensitivity and confidential nature of health information.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.

**Desirable**:

- Experience working with clinical staff in a healthcare facility.
- Experience working on Capital infrastructure programs and ICT building fit outs
- Experience using clinical and administrative information systems.
