**About us**:
Operating for over 80 years, Gowrie Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation that provides long day care and kindergarten at six sites across Melbourne. We also have a growing consulting function and an RTO specialising in early learning qualifications.
There are many elements that make Gowrie at The Harbour (Docklands) unique. From our shared garden space where children interact with siblings and other children across a range of ages, to our Out and About Program that supports community engagement and relationship with Country. We are uniquely located on the first floor with natural outdoor space and we are adjacent to the beautiful Birrarung (Yarra River). We are conveniently located only a short walk or tram from Southern Cross station.
**About the Role**:
As an Early Childhood Educator reporting to the Room Leader, you will contribute to the implementation of a high-quality early learning program by demonstrating initiative, completing tasks with mínimal supervision and role modelling professional practice reflective of Gowrie Victoria’s purpose, philosophy, and values.

- Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- 12 months experience working in early childhood education
- Demonstrable communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families and the local community
