An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Permanent Part time or Casual Catering Assistant to join one of the fastest growing catering companies in Australia. Reporting to the Chef, your role is to ensure our students, staff and guests have the opportunity to enjoy their meals in a friendly and vibrant atmosphere with excellent food service and quality.

**Roster**: Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 7:00pm during school term time

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Friendly customer service
- Plating and serving meals to our diverse customers
- Assisting with food preparation e.g. peeling/chopping vegetables, making sandwiches & salads
- Washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining kitchen & dining areas
- Assisting with preparation and service of functions and conferences
- Maintaining food hygiene, security and safety practices

**Key Attributes Required**:

- Previous experience assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations and service
- Ability to organise work with other team members and take direction
- Reliability and availability
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- First class food safety practices
- Ability to comply with OH&S and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment during peak service periods
