Blind Fitter

We currently have a vacancy for an Installer role in our ever-growing business based in Heatherbrae.

This role will include the installation of all types of window furnishings including, but not limited to, plantation shutters, roller blinds, vertical blinds, curtains and awnings, as well as rectifying installation issues using problem-solving skills. Installations will be carried out in retail customers' homes and on building sites of our commercial customers. This role will occasionally require you to perform ad-hoc tasks at our Heatherbrae base and on the road, including assisting in unloading plantation shutters from shipping containers, basic check-measuring tasks and daily loading/unloading of work vehicles.

The successful applicant will have:

- A basic understanding of power tool usage and safety, as well as the ability to drive a van.
- Previous experience in blind fitting or similar areas is ideal. However, we provide the necessary on-the-job training to succeed at our company.
- Full NSW driver's licence and current White Card are required.
- We are looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, hard-working, honest, and who can work well individually and as a team.

A van and tools will be provided. However, using any tools or appropriate vehicles (e.g. a van or ute) owned by the employee is encouraged and will be compensated for. Position advancement and wage increases are possible once knowledge and skills grow.
