As an Employment Consultant, you’ll be responsible for the successful placement and transition of our Job Seekers into sustainable employment and education, or both. Your role will be to deliver a high quality, individually tailored service, placing people with local and national employers.
You will be at the forefront of our service, working one-on-one with Job Seekers to provide support for sustainable employment. Your responsibilities include:
- Motivating people to understand and trust their abilities and removing their perceived barriers
- Creating individually tailored plans
- Supporting people to find sustainable employment
- Building a network of local employers
- Advocating for people living with disability, injury or health condition
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following skills and experience:
- A passion for helping people living with disability
- The drive to advocate for others
- Organisational and time management skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Resilience in the face of setbacks
- Ability to build rapport and relationships
- Experience in hospitality, retail, customer service or sales (desired)
- Strong customer service skills
- A current driver's license
- Fluency in another language and culture (desired)
