**The Position**

Based at Moline House in Karrinyup, your role in Hospitality is more than just preparing meals, cleaning and laundry, it’s about bringing warmth and care to our residents. By keeping the facility organise, you’ll help create moments of comfort and joy that truly makes it feel like home. This is a permanent part-time role offering 34 hours per fortnight.

**Week 1 & 2**

Wednesday: 0700-1330 (Kitchen Hand)

Thursday: 0800-1400 (Cleaning)

Friday: 0900-1400 (Laundry)

**Key responsibilities**:
**Kitchenhand**
- Prepare and plate food, serve and clear away meals in line with food preparation schedules.
- Maintain the food preparation and serving areas to state hygiene standards.
- Maintain appropriate resident interactions in line with the organizational values.
- Consider resident lifestyles and personal choice.
- Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with others.
- Collect all temperature and cleaning records for the week and place in managers basket for checking and signing.
- Record any dietary changes on master print out.
- Check on stock requirements, e.g. bread, milk, OJ, yoghurt and change as necessary.
- As required replenish shopping supplies which are specific and not currently available from usual supplier.

**Cleaner**
- Demonstrates competent time management techniques in cleaning routines
- Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas
- Follows cleaning schedule
- Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
- Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
- Maintains effective interpersonal relationships with others, utilising appropriate
- channels for assistance guidance and concerns

**Laundry**
- Manages the laundry routines in line with the laundry schedule
- Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
- Considers resident lifestyle and personal choice

**_ Essential Criteria:_**
- Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
- NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
- Willingness to attend 1 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
