About the role
The Draftsperson role is a full-time position, primarily based at our Minto office, but working from our Wetherill Park office, as required.
Reporting to the Technical Digitisation, Drafting & Estimating Manager, this role is responsible for delivering quality and comprehensive drafting services and contributing to digitisation initiatives.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Deliver timely and accurate drafting services for CSR projects in support of sales initiatives.
- Contribute to digitisation of CSR's technical information for customers that may include producing CAD & BIM content as part of CSR's digital content platforms.
- Provide drafting services to the Technical Support and Systems Engineering & Compliance teams (within the Customer Solutions Business Unit), as required to develop customer solutions and to support newproduct development (NPD) initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive and agile drafting service offer with the aim of achieving strong commercial outcomes tothe broader CSR business.
- Ensure all drawings and technical information are compliant with the relevant Australian Standards, NCC requirements and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Maintain safe working practices ensuring compliance with CSR WHSE standards and policies.

**About you**:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in building/construction industry (ideal, but not essential) or related industries
- permanent formwork systems, pre-cast concrete, structural steel, structural concrete, structural engineering.
- Competence in using AutoCAD, TEKLA & BIM software packages.
- Experience in all phases of design, from concept to construction documents.
- Strong ability to read, assess architectural, structural engineering & shop drawings.
- Ability to manage and derive program deadlines and meet them.
- Ability to resolve project-based problems in a timely manner.
- Very strong communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with (internal & external) stakeholders at all levels.
