Casual Packer

**About the role**

MCC Labels is a world leader in Premium Label Solutions, with our QLD facility specializing in the Food and Beverage market segments. We have over 50 manufacturing plants around the world and currently our team in Brisbane (Capalaba) is recruiting for an outstanding Despatch Packer/Slitter rewinder, which is an important role within our production team.

This is a casual contract position with up to 38 hours per week.

**About the role**

Specifically, the role includes:

- Shrink wrapping and boxing finished rolls of labels.
- Running a slitter rewinder machine when required.
- Maintaining a HACCP work place.

To be successful in this position, applicants must possess a good work ethic, high attention to detail and be confident and self-motivated, have good communication skills and work well both autonomously and as part of a team.

**About you**

Required strengths include:

- Experienced in in similar role.
- Forklift license would be an advantage but not essential.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Team player with a mature attitude, a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
