**Head - Distance Learning**
**12 month contract with possibility of extension**

St Philomena School is a traditional Catholic school operated by priests of St Pius X, with a classical curriculum based in Park Ridge, Queensland. The school wishes to expand this offering to distance education learners.
**Main Purpose of the Job**:
Head - Distance Learning will have the responsibility of creating and implementing a distance education offering at St Philomena School.
This position reports directly to the Principal and will be supported by Head of Primary, Head of Secondary, Business Manager and other resources available.
**Position responsibilities**:
- Create the Distance Education Strategy
- Complete and submit the Application
- Develop the IT Platform
- Develop the Curriculum Content
- Experience in a senior leadership role
- Experience in distance education
- Promoter of the classical approach to learning
- Understand the technologies available to support distance learning
