**The Role**
As a member of the CIOG (Chief Information Officer Group) ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Business Readiness Team, the successful applicant will be introduced to the range of changes required to deliver the ERP transformation in Defence. Specifically, this role will be focused on business readiness activities occurring across CIOG for the ERP Program rollout.
You will find yourself immersed in new concepts that will challenge the status quo and learn how an integrated system will actually work in the Defence environment. In addition, you will also assist with the management of the CIOG business readiness functions including schedule, risk/issues management and role mapping activities as it relates to both ERP and broader Transformation Program initiatives adopting Project Management principles.

**About our Team**
The CIOG ERP Business Readiness Team within Service Delivery and Reform Division is a highly motivated team. You will be exposed to the internal operations of CIOG and provided with an opportunity to influence new ways of working though the business readiness activities required to be undertaken for the ERP Program. ERP will be a significant change for Defence with new concepts being introduced in human resources, procurement, finance, case management, supply chain management and military planning and operations, and simplified end to end processes. Extensive stakeholder engagement and knowledge management is key to being successful in this role, and you will build extensive working relationships across CIOG and the broader Defence.
- High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, including contractors, APS and ADF members.
- An ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing complex situations and uncertainty.
- The ability to be comfortable and confident taking ownership of outcomes and leading tasks to completion and success.
- Ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data and undertake remediation activates in accordance with Program timeframes.
