Logistics Supervisor Redhill Warehouse
- Salvos Stores are seeking to employ a Logistics Supervisor to lead the Transport and Distribution team based out of Red Hill.
- This varied role presents a strong platform for a talented supply/warehouse professional seeking to enhance their skills and build a career in the Not For Profit sector;
- ABOUT THE ROLE
- Overseeing and managing the efficient and cost-effective collection, receiving, sorting, storage and distribution of all stock and orders at both the warehouse and Stores.
- Managing and supervising the day-to-day activity and performance of a team of 30 (approx);
- Managing warehouse and distribution facility including stock control, waste disposal maintenance, security, open/close; and, coordinating transport fleet and forklift maintenance and servicing;
- Leading WHS compliance;
- Maintaining a high level of customer service through continuous communication with external and internal stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence, truck (MR) or forklift licence;
- Demonstrated experience in a Transport and Distribution Supervision role;
- An understanding, empathy and appreciation of others with the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army;
- WHS - knowledge of work health safety and workers compensation obligations.
