Hotel Receptionist

**EXPERIENCED FRONT OF HOUSE HOTEL GUEST RECEPTIONIST**

We are a beautiful resort complex in Coolum Beach and boast some of most magnificent views the Sunshine Coast has on offer.

We delight in ensuring our guests truly enjoy their stay. Our hard-working team is relaxed without being completely laid back, caring passionately about the business and our guests. We believe that even the smallest things matter, so we regularly go above and beyond to make a difference.

The Receptionist role includes:

- Handling prospective guest enquiries and taking hotel bookings
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Managing guest issues creatively to achieve positive outcomes
- Interacting with and conducting our housekeeping team’s daily activities
- Arranging and co-ordinating the successful completion of maintenance issues
- Completing hotel and property owner administration tasks
- Supporting the Manager to improve the hotel and guest experiences

The successful applicant will:

- Have substantial front of house experience within a management rights, hotel or motel environment
- be authentic, personable and engaging
- be able to demonstrate an aptitude for juggling conflicting priorities and for managing others
- maintain a positive approach to life
- already reside on the Sunshine Coast
- possess a 'can do' attitude
- be a team player
- be flexible; and
- ideally (but not necessarily) have a working knowledge of Resly

Start date:
Training shifts to start immediately and once up to speed, the successful applicant will then go on roster. We expect the applicant to be available to work regular shifts, particularly during school holidays and on weekends.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Permanent

**Salary**: $31.09 - $43.52 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
