Big Ant Studios are looking for a highly talented and motivated Sports Data Analyst to play a
key role in the studio.

Join us in making some of consoles and PCs biggest sports titles from our centrally located
Melbourne studio.

Working on Big Ant Studios’ sports titles, including Cricket, AFL, Tennis, Rugby Union and
more, the Sports Data Analyst would assist in collecting and maintaining the player and team
databases, including implementing player ratings and validating player biographic
information.

The role will work closely with the design and quality assurance teams to ensure that player
ratings provide a consistent gameplay experience.

The core areas of focus for this role are:

- Data entry of player information, such as names, positions and roles
- Identifying sources and methodology for obtaining player information
- Creating accurate player ratings based on statistical and observed player
performances
- Keeping data such as team line-ups up to date with real-world changes
- Implementing data gathered into the game titles utilising existing systems

We are looking for someone with:

- Extensive knowledge of one or more of Cricket, AFL, Tennis and Rugby Union
- Keen eye for identifying unique player traits
- Excellent skills at Microsoft Excel

With extra consideration given to:

- Strong knowledge of sports video games
- Qualifications in Sports Data Analytics or similar fields
