**The Centre**

**Busy Learners Early Education Centre** opened in October 1993 and cares for 75 children aged from birth to school age. We provide before and after school care to school age children as well as vacation care in the school holidays. We offer many programs including bush kindy and music programs and incorporate Aboriginal perspectives into our every day learning. We also have a strong sustainability focus in our centre.

Our 24 centres offer a range of services to our families such as beach, bush and farm kindy, swimming and Healthy Bodies Programs. **The Role**

The successful applicant must have a strong desire to provide high quality care as well as attention to detail. This role is a senior management role within the centre where mentoring and coaching your team occurs every day. You will support your Lead Educators in planning and practice. Suitable applicants must be able to meet the following criteria:

- Hold a minimum of Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience as a room leader/educational leader
- Use your amazing coaching techniques to help develop reflective practices
- Identify areas of improvement and support educators in their planning
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
- Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care
