**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

To assist with the receival of materials, fabrication, storage and despatch of fencing and gates that meet project requirements as directed by Management.

**DUTIES**

Comply with all relevant QHSE policies & procedures including Fabrication Control procedure.

Training provided.

Great team environment.

Conduct pre-start checks of plant and equipment as required.

Unload and receive materials delivered into store.

Check for quality, identify and store materials ready for despatch.

Sort and stack easily identified products in appropriate area for the respective products.

Pick and pack materials as described on the Materials Stock Request sheet.

Assist with local deliveries and pickups when required

Assist with fabrication of products when required.

Assist in the loading and unloading of fabricated products.

Ensure workshop/yard is maintained in an orderly manner to minimise safety risks and potential accidents and enable products to be easily located.

Return all tools and equipment to their storage location after use.

Manage the restocking of excess material returned from site.

Respond to any other requests made by the Management

Operate all equipment and property in a manner which meets legal obligations, the manufacturer’s recommended operating procedures and maximises its economical life.

Make safe any hazards and report safety hazards not yet controlled to Management.

Report as soon as practicably possible to your direct Manager and/or the QHSE Coordinator any situation that you believe could be a hazard to any person or a cause of pollution or damage to the environment.

Report as soon as practicably possible to your direct Manager and/or the QHSE Coordinator any injury, incident, environmental damage or near miss of which you become aware of.

Failure to comply with policies and procedures will result in disciplinary action

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENCES**

Certificate of Education or equivalent

Forklift License

Current C Class license or above

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

Able to follow instructions

Work as part of a team

Good organisational and time management skills

Attention to detail

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
