Fibrous/drywall Plasterer

AR Commercial Interiors is an established office fit-out company with proven history of projects from small to large scale.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Fibrous/drywall plasterer to join our team on a full-time basis.

**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage allocated projects effectively
- Install suspend ceilings, fire rating systems, acoustic tiles, and composite wall linings to buildings
- Determine plasterboard layout.
- Install insulation and vapour barriers.
- Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
- Lift, position and secure panels to walls, ceilings and battens.
- Prepare corner beads and securing them in position
- Fix pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittings.
- Cover joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smoothing them using wet brushes and sand paper.
- Level and smooth coats to uniform thickness.
- Plumb and straighten corners, angles and wall and ceiling surfaces
- Oversee work of less skilled workers.

**Requirements**:

- A relevant Australian qualification - Certificate III level as the minimum
- Two+ years of directly relevant work experience in Australian construction
- Consistent high standards of work
- OH&S
- White Card
- A valid Driver’s license.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)

**Experience**:

- Plastering: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
