The NBN business in Perth has imploded, with years of work available, and as such Connect Contracting is looking to engage on a full time basis:

- **Experienced Concreters**:

- **Experienced personnel in Manual Excavation** or
- **Less experienced People who want an opportunity who want to train in this field**

Rates start at $30 but are based on experience so you may qualify for a higher rate, $30 is the minimum (as we had to put something in the ad to post it)

Your role will involve the carrying out of works on the NBN network for Major clients on a range of different NBN Projects. If you have experience on the NBN already we want to hear from you.
- Construction Induction - White Card (mandatory)
- Valid Australian Driver's License
- Covid19 - Vaccination (Mandatory on NBN)

If you have the following you are more than likely to be welcomed with open arms, but dont stress if you don't as we always make sure our people are trained before conducting work that needs inductions or tickets:

- Downer and Fulton Hogan inducted
- NBN Enable Inducted
- HR License
- Traffic Management ticket
- ILPUA Ticket
- First Aid and CPR (valid)
- Police Clearance
- Confined Space Ticket
- Pit and Pipe Ticket
- Asbestos Removal Ticket

You will be working with a great team who are renowned for their quality of work, who smash daily and weekly target, who thrive under pressure and ensure speed of delivery in the following:

- Hauling NBN cables to connect fibre to the premise network
- Rod and Rope - rodding existing Telstra ducts to install NBN cables
- Clearing blockages in ducts
- Dig down repairs to repair broken and damaged pipes
- Pit upgrades and Pit installations
- Breakdown of Asbestos Pits to be placed with PVC pits (you will be trained in Asbestos removal, receiving a ticket to conduct these works)
- Conduct other civil works such as repairs to infrastructure disrupted by trench work
- Breakout and reinstatement of pavers/concrete footpaths or drives
- Using a vaccum truck to vacuum out pits (if you can already do this, then great)
