**About the Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced all-rounder Food & Beverage Attendants to join our professional conference & events team, and deliver a high standard of customer service to guests with a friendly, positive ‘can do’ attitude and a helpful approach. Our property is an idyllic location for sporting groups, conferences and meetings, weddings, themed gala events, exhibitions and product launches. Be it in the Royal Benowa Ballroom, or under the stars, around the poolside or podium lawns, our team goes above & beyond, to create memorable experiences for our clients and guests.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to experience working small and large conferences & events. You will be flexible, showcasing your broad skill set, waiting tables, pouring drinks or making coffees. Your key responsibilities for the role include:

- Greet & interact with guests
- Set and clear tables
- Menu knowledge & explanation
- Take orders and table service
- Barista coffee making
- Beverage service
- POS and cash handling

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- Availability to work 3+ shifts per week, between 5am - midnight/2am, on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends & public holidays
- Previous conference and events food & beverage experience in a hotel/resort environment
- RSA Certificate
- Qualification in food & beverage, hospitality/tourism, desirable
- Strong beverage knowledge & experience - pouring beer, wine & mixing drinks
- Barista coffee making skills & experience
- Table service order taking, waitering skills in a la carte, alternate drop, set menu, buffet etc
- Ability to carry 3 plates and a tray of drinks for table service
- Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with guests well and to clearly explain food & beverage menus
- POS experience
- Work well in a team environment & can follow direction
- Passion for the hospitality industry & a desire to deliver 5 star customer service
- Excellent personal presentation
