We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Apprentice with a hunger to learn all aspects of the hydraulic fitting trade, supporting our Service team at our Melbourne workshop in Clayton, VIC.

This Apprenticeship will suit a self motivated individual with an interest in all areas of hydraulics. You will receive on the job training and development by skilled Bosch Rexroth Hydraulic Technicians and Application Engineers.

**Position Purpose**

Job tasks will include but not be limited to:

- Assist in Building and Maintenance related activity
- Maintain a clean work area
- Completing workshop-based component repair and testing for various pumps, motors, cylinders and valves of Bosch Rexroth manufactured products
- Carrying out repairs to power units that have been brought into the workshop for repair as well as carry out the replacement of damaged tube and pipe work that is fitted to Bosch Rexroth products
- Reaching a basic level of welding and machining.
- Need to perform other duties from time to time to meet our business and operational requirements such as component cleaning & painting

**Qualifications** Position Requirements**

(Education/ Experience/ Knowledge)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- School certificate or Higher School certificate.
- Sound achievement in Math and English.
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
- Demonstrate effective communication and team skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Motivation to learn new knowledge and skills.
- Be self‐motivated and capable of multitasking.
- A strong team focus and personal work ethic.
