- Recent experience in a similar role within the financial planning/services industry
- Understanding and knowledge of the compliance obligations that we adhere to
- Xplan preferable or any other financial planning software and Microsoft Office proficiency

About the Job

Key responsibilities include:
General financial planning administration including:

- Assisting with phone calls both in and out
- Booking of client appointments
- Scanning and filing of documentation
- Assisting with the client review process
- Being one of the first points of contact and offering a seamless link between clients and their adviser
- Preparing for new client appointments and plan presentations
- Assisting to prepare advice documents
- Liaising with key service providers including investment houses, insurers and superannuation partners
- Managing electronic filing including maintaining the accuracy of the client database
- Adhering to very strict compliance policies and procedures
- Identifying and assisting to deliver process improvements/business efficiencies

This role is to support the existing administration team for a growing business and to free up administration time for other staff. We are a team of five comprising of two financial advisers, one associate/paraplanner and two client services officers. You must be comfortable in a small office environment where it is expected that you will help wherever possible in what is a wide and varied role. Complete confidentiality of all client affairs is an absolute priority.
