**The Position**

**The**
**Group Digital, Information and Technology (DI&T) team**
***is seeking a talented
- **Communications Officer.** This role is offered on a Permanent Full Time basis based in Perth or Melbourne.
- This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a role and work across all levels of a highly supportive team which values effective communications.
- Using your creative flair to create engaging and informative internal communications, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the team’s communications strategy and schedule, and providing regular communications support to service areas and projects.
- The position provides communications advice, and defines and executes the most effective communications approaches including key messages and channels to convey information to target audiences in an engaging way. Audiences include SJGHC executives, all caregivers and communications leads across the organisation, and the DI&T team.
- This role supports multiple DI&T stakeholders including the Group Director, Group Managers, Change and Project Managers under the council of the Group Manager, Project Services, Change & Resourcing.

- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- At least three (3) years’ experience developing and executing internal communication strategies that contribute to better engagement.
- Comfortable working to short and changing deadlines, and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience in managing multiple media channels.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships, consult with key stakeholders, and provide effective customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Outstanding writing skills and ability to produce clear and compelling information simply and consistently.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communication plans for large and complex projects within large organisations.
- Experience in using the Adobe suite, in particular InDesign, and SharePoint would be desirable.
