**About the Centre**: Located in Riverwood, this Centre caters for children aged 1-5 years. With a focus on providing high-quality care and education, they provide a warm and nurturing environment for children and have large, open outdoor spaces for the children.

**Position**:Childcare ECT

**Responsibilities**: As an ECT, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment for our young learners. Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages children to explore and discover.
- Monitoring and recording each child's progress, development, and milestones, communicating regularly with parents or guardians.
- Collaborating with a team of educators to design engaging activities, ensuring children's individual needs and interests are met.
- Promoting health and safety practices within the preschool environment.
- Building strong partnerships with families and fostering a sense of community within the preschool.

**To be successful in this role, you should possess**:

- Degree in Early Childhood Education
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
- Programming experience.
- Passionate about working with additional needs children.
