Sandwich Artist

We are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated casual senior sandwich artist for our busy beach side bakery. This position is approximately 25 hours per week and does include some weekends. Shift begins at 4am. Finish time is roughly 10am but always depends on work load. Latest finish is 12pm. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure. Weekend availability is a must but rotating roster applies. We are looking for people with excellent customer service skills as you may be required to converse with our customers and take orders. The successful applicant will also have impeccable forward thinking/planning skills. We are looking for honest, reliable and punctual applicants with good references.

**Duties Include**:

- Sandwich making
- Food preparation
- Occasional Serving customers with exceptional service skills and a smile on your face.
- Achieving a high standard of bakery presentation and cleanliness
- Supersion of junior staff members
- Cleaning.

**Good things you need**:

- To be active - you'll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
- The availability to work flexible hours
- To know your stuff, or learn quickly as you'll be a go-to person for customers queries on the front counter.
- Experience in Sandwich making and food preparation
- A Food safety certificate.
- A commitment to providing our customers with the best possible experience

**Salary**: $29.23 - $40.92 per hour
