**ABOUT THE COMPANY**

Aroona Group distributes internationally recognised brands SURFTECH (MISFIT, Al Merrick, Gerry Lopez, Takayama, AIPA, Bark, Walden, Roger Hinds, Wayne Rich), NSP, and MAUI FIN CO within the Australian and New Zealand markets. All brands are the pioneers of introducing durable advanced composite epoxy constructions to the marketplace.

Aroona is a small team of passionate surfers and watersport enthusiasts.

**THE ROLE**
This full-time role is based in Brookvale, Sydney. The role includes but is not limited to:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Surf/SUP/FOIL dealers across Australia
- Develop & implement yearly pre-order programs for all brands
- Lead sales fulfillment/stock allocation
- Develop & maintain product pricing to ensure profit
- All-round customer service
- Identify marketing & product opportunities by recognising consumer requirements
- Utilise CRM software to streamline communication with customers
- Assist in managing social media channels
- Manage regular retailer communication through MailChimp software
- Support team with cross-promotional and cross-selling tactics and opportunities
- Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing retailer sales budgets, scheduling expenses, analysing variances
- Develop & implement brand marketing initiatives
- Provide product recommendations to maximize sales effectiveness and ROI from customer and consumer activities
- Run product demo days in collaboration with retailers

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
We are seeking an experienced sales individual to join our team. Ideally you will have experience within the SURF industry. Key responsibilities will include:

- Experience in a similar role (sales and marketing)
- Knowledge/passion for the watersports industry.
- Experience in using ERP invoice systems (Ideally QuickBooks)
- Strong CRM, sales, and marketing administration skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong computer skills - Word, Excel & Outlook
- Sales driven, customer focused.
- Self-motivated, task focused and a proactive approach to use you own initiative
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to deadlines
- Sales driven; customer focused
- Well presented with great communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- A true team player - willing to pitch outside the scope of their role when required
