**ROLE DETAILS**

**Location**: Glen Iris, VIC

**Children**: 10 month old and 4.5 year old

**Pay rate**: $35-38 per hour + Super

**Days**:Tuesdays and Fridays (OR Mondays and Tuesdays, if the right person prefers)

**Hours**:7am-6pm (slight flexibility please)

**Start date**:January 17th.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Vaccinated against Covid-19
- Drivers Licence
- Permanent Australian Residency
- 2+ years of experience with children of similar ages
- 2 outstanding references for us to call.

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
Working parents are seeking a playful and organised nanny 2 days a week. On Tuesdays both children will be with the nanny, and on the other day the 4 year old will attend Kinder. The family is keen for the nanny to get out and about with the boys - to local parks and other activities in the community. The family car will be available for the nanny to use and they will be required to drive at least for Kinder drop off/pick up most weeks.

The children will be the number one priority, but the parents would also like a little help to keep the home relatively tidy and organised. Laundry support will be a priority, as will helping the family to keep the children's rooms and common areas tidy. Simple meal prep would also be very helpful when there is time.

The family is seeking someone who will enjoy time with the children and who will build beautiful relationships with them so they feel supported. The right person for the role will have experience with children of similar ages, be creative with ways to spend their time, and happy to be active and engaged with the boys.

**ABOUT THE FAMILY**
These parents are relaxed, friendly, and eager to welcome their first nanny into their home Both are very hands-on with their children but it's time to bring in some extra support so they can focus on work several days a week. Their home is busy but relaxed, and they hope to hire a nanny who will fit in well with their family and share that balanced and down to earth attitude.

The 4.5yo is chatty, confident, and loves people. He enjoys being active and is thriving at Kinder, where he will continue next year. The 10mo baby is content and has so far been very happy to go along with whatever else is happening with his family. He slowly develops solid bonds with caregivers and adores his big brother. He follows a loose but consistent sleep routine with 2 naps a day, which works well.
