- Audit equipment demand and capacity, capturing data to improve efficiency.
- Monitor Unit Load Device stock levels, set limits in collaboration with airlines and ground handlers, and coordinate offsite transfers when required.
- Review CCTV footage and issue notices if equipment is left unsecured.
- Support contingency planning during peak travel periods.
- Provide regular reports on stock holdings, transfers, damaged equipment, and other key data.
- Contribute to improving the design and layout of equipment storage areas to achieve safer and more efficient outcomes.
- Help implement a stock control and visibility portal that provides alerts and actions.
- Coordinate removal or repair of damaged equipment.
- Support training for airline and ground handler teams on policies and procedures.
- Report incidents and hazards as they occur.
- Knowledge of airfield, airline, or ground handling operations.
- Familiarity with aviation safety regulations, including the Civil Aviation Safety Authority’s (CASA) Manual of Standards Part 139 for aerodrome operations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
