Our client, a leading player in the mining and resources industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic **Electrical Superintendent** for their **Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP)**. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in electrical management, system knowledge of SAP, and leadership of technical teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage a team of approximately 20 electrical staff within the CHPP.
- Oversee and coordinate all electrical maintenance and repair activities in the CHPP, ensuring high safety standards and compliance.
- Ensure operational efficiency and reliability of electrical systems in line with company goals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the electrical team in troubleshooting, system improvements, and preventive maintenance.
- Manage electrical shutdowns and scheduled maintenance, coordinating with other departments to minimise downtime.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Must be a qualified Electrician or have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven, documented experience in a similar role, ideally within a mining or heavy industrial environment (minimum 5 years)
- Experience in leading and managing a team of technical staff.
- Demonstrated expertise with SAP for electrical maintenance management (ideally SAP PM module).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- A current Drivers Licence
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
