**Mandarin/ Cantonese Interpreter**
- Multiple roles available
- Immediate start WFH
- 12-month contract working 5 days per week on a shift roster

**About the role**:
As an interpreter, you will work with and support people who require language translation from English to Mandarin/ Cantonese.
Your interpreting services will be focused on a mix of topics and dialogues in a variety of industries including the following:
Government Departments such as Centre Link, Disability Services, Health and Medical Centers, Police and Legal firms, Educational institutions, or private business entities. etc
Working hours : 8 hours / day supporting 6am to 6pm pacific time 9 hours coverage with 1 hour for lunch.
The working days are rostered and will cover weekend or public holidays.
Call volume can range from 20 - 40 per day depending on the demand.

**Experience needed**:

- Experience working as an interpreter is advantageous however, no previous experience is needed except fluency in both English and Mandarin / Cantonese and excellent communication skills ( verbal and written ).
- The role is fully working from home, and we welcome applicants of all ages and professional levels. New graduates welcome as well as retirees
- Full training will be provided as well as a headset for call use.
- Must be reliable and easily contactable and usage of own home internet connection.
