**Role Description/Criteria**

We are seeking a passionate and committed teacher with the ability to teach Year 11&12 Psychology and Junior Science.

You will be someone who is able to model excellent teaching practices while building the capabilities of our learners through evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning.

The ability to develop inclusive and supportive learning environments, foster positive relationships and communicate with staff, students, and parents in a timely and respectful manner is essential to the role.

It is expected that you will be able to attend staff meetings, curriculum evenings and school activities in support of the students, curriculum, and the College Community.

To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in your specialist teaching areas as well as:

- A willingness to uphold the vision and values of Marcellin College
- An understanding of contemporary teaching and learning pedagogies
- A commitment to working collaboratively as a part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- An ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement
- A commitment to pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students
- Current VIT Registration
