With a healthy pipeline of live projects and a growing commercial portfolio, we’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. You’ll play a key role in driving the commercial performance of projects - ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and contract compliance while contributing to Kapitol’s reputation for excellence.

Working alongside Project Managers, Site Teams, and Contract Administrators, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end financial management across live projects - from procurement and reporting through to final accounts.

**What you’ll do**:

- Prepare, assess, and negotiate progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Prepare and submit head contract variations and related documentation to clients.
- Assess, negotiate, and finalise subcontractor variations to maintain commercial accuracy.
- Support cost forecasting, budget control, and value management throughout project delivery.
- Conduct risk reviews and ensure compliance with commercial procedures and governance frameworks.
- Provide accurate, timely financial reporting and insights to the project team.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Contract Administrators to maintain strong commercial performance.
- Participate in project reviews, identifying opportunities to optimise financial outcomes.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying or Contract Administration role within commercial construction.
- Sound understanding of cost management, subcontractor administration, and construction contracts.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly proficient in cost management systems (e.g. Jobpac, Cheops, Excel, Bluebeam).
