Fleurieu Cranes are seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. Take the next step in your finance career.

**About the Opportunity**

This role is with our valued client Fleurieu Cranes and will be based at their Head Office in Wingfield.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Analyst will contribute to the business’s growth through strategic financial analysis and business improvement initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Senior Managers on a range of projects.

As the Financial Analyst, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Analysis of financial and company data - identifying and evaluating opportunities
- Capital expenditure evaluations and planning
- Management of budgeting and forecasting process and ongoing analysis
- Monthly profitability analysis incl. assets, projects and more
- Assisting the CFO with ad hoc projects and opportunities
- Manage the relationship with the outsourced IT provider, and undertake various IT related tasks

**About You**

With demonstrated accounting experience and a passion for understating the business beyond the numbers, you may have worked in a Management Accounting, budgeting and forecasting or similar role in the past and looking to take the next step into business analytics.

In addition to the above, to be successful in this role you will have/be:

- A tertiary qualification/degree or CA/CPA
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with management, peers and other stakeholders
- A curious mindset with determination to understand what is driving the numbers
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Great written and verbal communications skills and the ability to communicate and tailor reports effectively at all levels
- High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously, under pressure and to deadlines
- Confident to prioritise and organise your work while managing multiple tasks in a busy environment
- An interest and willingness to learn IT systems and skills
- Strong MS office skills, with an ability to used tools such as Power BI.

A passion for cranes, construction, and heavy industries is essential, although desirable direct experience is not.
