**About the role**

As our Procurement Manager, you will lead the development of efficient and effective procurement initiatives, services, programs and standards which support the organisation in achieving its strategic and operational goals. You will capitalise on the funds available for the delivery of services to the community by providing cost
- effective quality goods and services.

**Duties**
- Develop and implement a whole-of business procurement framework and practice, seeking cost efficiencies where feasible, with a focus on ethical dealing and human rights whilst considering environmental factors and local community support.
- Ensure there are a range of approved suppliers to meet business and service delivery requirements; and that all suppliers meet TBS due diligence requirements with a system in place for recording, monitoring and follow up of documentation
- Manage the end to end tender process and negotiation of commercially viable contracts and work with other TBS business functions to ensure co-ordination of purchasing and procurement services.
- Provide procurement tools, governance, advisory and consultant services for tender processes and contract negotiations initiated by other business functions.

**Skills and Experience**
- Prior experience in the not-for-profit sector (desirable although not essential) and degree level business qualifications (extensive experience will be considered in lieu of educational qualifications).
- An ethical business leader who demonstrates professionalism, integrity and respect in all business dealings on behalf of the organisation.
- Experience working in a procurement function to deliver the highest standards of procurement governance as well as technical understanding of procurement processes: e-Procurement, Tendering, Contract Development, Supplier Relationship Management, Purchasing, Negotiation and Customer Service.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport and good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working across a growing diverse range of indirect procurement services e.g. Fleet, IT, Marketing, Office Supplies, Property and Travel Supply Chains, NFP/Government Buying Groups and Social Procurement Providers.
